Japan reported a record 420 COVID-19 deaths on December 29th.

The figure makes it the second consecutive day the country confirms a record number of deaths from the virus.

The Health Ministry also announced on December 28th that the country has entered an epidemic of the seasonal flu.

この数字により、同国でウイルスによる死者数が過去最高を確認するのは2日連続となります。

厚生労働省は12月28日、同国が季節性インフルエンザの流行に入ったとも発表しました。
