少子化の深刻化

The number of newborns in Japan is expected to hit a record low of 864,000 in 2019.

It is the first time the number slipped below 900,000 since record-keeping began in 1899.

If the figure indeed dips to 864,000, it will be two years earlier than government predictions.

2019年の日本の新生児数は過去最低の86万4千人になると予想されています。

1899年に記録を取り始めて以来、90万人を割り込むのは初めてのことです。

もし実際に86.4万人まで落ち込むとすれば、政府の予測より2年早いことになります。
